Investigation On The Education Of Marxist Concept Of Journalism In Guangxi Universities

University, an important place with the mass of young students, is the main field where Marxist concept of journalism is conveyed. It is of great significance for the young people’s beliefs and sound development of the journalism in our country to promote the education of Marxist concept of journalism in university. Take Journalism and Communication major in undergraduate universities in Guangxi zhuang autonomous region for example, the general situation of Marxist concept of journalism in Guangxi Universities will be analyzed from the perspectives of teaching and learning through the sample survey. The current education of Marxist concept of journalism in Guangxi Universities will be presented through the data collection and depiction. Further, combined with the data analysis and research, the problem arising in process of education will be found, which lays foundation for improvement ways and methods. It is supposed to provide help for the construction of education of Marxist concept of journalism in Guangxi Universities and reference for pragmatic research.Through the objective analysis of collected data by the inferred overall population based on sample, the current situation on the education of Marxistconcept of journalism from undergraduate universities with Journalism and Communication major in Guangxi Universities is described. It finds that there are serious problems in the education. Due to teacher shortages and maldistribution, what’s worse, teacher’s inadequate understanding of Marxist concept of journalism, courses of Marxist concept of journalism are unpopular among the students with lower class rate, implicit recognition. In allusion to the existing problems and the reality of journalism education in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, suggestions are put forward from the following aspects in the dissertation. The practice should be strengthen to interact among the teacher, student and the press. The progress should be made in the innovation of teaching method. Teaching programs, such as Seminars, reading activities and keynote speech, should be enriched. It is expected to integrate theoretical teaching and practice more closely, live up the atmosphere of the education of Marxist concept of journalism in a more generally accepted way and stimulate students interest in learning.
