In recent years,with the continuous development of the power system, communication network which as one of the important part of the grid power is also accelerate the pace of construction.Power communication network is the basis of dispatching automation, network operations and management modernization,and it is also an important measure to make power grid security, stability and economic.Improve the level of power communication network running on grid security and stability is of great significance.This paper introduces the concept of SDH and MSTP optical fiber communication and the development of SDH home and abroad.Combined with the actual situation of Pingyi power supply company,analysis the existing problems and difficulties of it and point out the urgency and necessity of power communication optical transmission network optimization.After discussion,draw up a power system SDH transmission network optimization strategy in detail.By the optimization of SDH communication network architecture,equipment and fiber,improving the communication capacity and communication network security and stability.The whole program is simple, reliable and economical,in accordance with the actual situation of Pingyi area.The optimization scheme is based on the SDH and MSTP network.Through the network hierarchy analysis, to design and build a two-story flat network architecture, and the entire communication network is divided into the core layer and access layer, create a new one by the core ring and four communications network access rings.The transmission network through an access ring and core ring intersects achieve a multi-purpose route to the core layer.By optimizing the transformation, self-healing protection and security stability Malus regional power transmission network has been greatly improved.
