Power optical fiber transmission network is a dedicated communication network to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system.Also,it is the basis of the traditional power grid turning to smart grid.With the continuous development of smart grid,the scale of power network is getting larger,and the number and type of power business are increasing.To meet the increasing demand for power business,power systems also need to vigorously build fiber-optic transmission network.In order to achieve the goal of cost-effective,strong and reliable,before the construction of power transmission network,it is necessary to optimize the design scientifically and rationally.Firstly,aiming at the optimization design of electric power optical fiber transmission network,this paper compares the characteristics of the power private network and that of the public network fully.Based on the knowledge of graph theory,we can achieve the topology structure of power optical fiber transmission network.Then the multi-objective optimization model of power optical fiber transmission network is proposed by considering various factors such as economic cost,network connectivity,site looping rate and mean voltage of the ring-forming station,so as to which can reflect the network structure of the intelligent power optical transmission network more truly and objectively.Secondly,for the multi-objective optimization model of electric power optical transmission network exists many problems,such as mutual constraints and mutual exclusion between the objectives,this paper analyzes the limitations of traditional methods solving multi-objective problems,such as weighting method,constraint method and distance function method,then it applyes the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm(NSGA-II)with elitist strategy to solve multi-objective model.This paper focuses on the algorithm's three key techniques,including fast non-dominated sorting operator,individual crowded distance operator and elite strategy selection operator.In addition,in order to solve the NSGA-II algorithm's defects,such as being easy to fall into the local optimum,the slow convergence rate,the not good population diversity and other,this paper puts forward the population initialization design strategy basing on the good point set and the crossover operator design strategy basing on the good point set and Hamming distance.Then,an improved algorithm is applied to solve the multi-objective optimization model of power optical fiber transmission network,and the result of the solution is a non-inferior optimal solution set.Finally,taking the power optical fiber transmission network of the northeast of Jilin Province as an example,the paper designs four sets of simulation experiments.The example data proves the scientific and rationality of the multi-objective optimization model and the improved algorithm.
