Research On User Satisfaction Of Digital Library Based On User Experience

Along with the rapid popularization of the communication technology and network technology, Internet plays an increasingly important role in our life, and the information industry rapidly rise up. Digital library is the product of the network era, its generation and development cannot break away from the information technology, network technology, massive storage technology support, etc. Nowadays, digital library has become an important means to meet people’s information demand, it also plays an essential role in people’s information life.At the same time, people have many means to get to the information, the emergence of the all kinds of search engines, open access in academic resources, academic community, digital library is faced with the severe competition and challenge, which prompts the digital library itself to conform to the trend of the times, constantly developing, studying the use of user behavior, to provide users with more convenient and accurate information service. The paper expands on this background of this thesis.This paper introduces the idea of user experience to the user satisfaction evaluation of digital library. In this paper, first of all, the study of the literature of related theory, user experience theory are summarized, the basic content of customer satisfaction theory, explores the user experience theory is introduced into the digital library users’ satisfaction to the feasibility of combing the satisfaction evaluation of the status quo, digital library research provides a theoretical basis for the rest of this article.Then based on the perspective of the user experience, from the user perspective to explore the present situation of the service of digital library, the user experience theory applied to the evaluation of digital library user satisfaction, the customer satisfaction of digital library research. In this paper, on the basis of predecessors’research, on the basis of a mature satisfaction research model and’ combined with the user experience in the application of digital library, give full consideration to the uniqueness of the digital library users, on the basis of the established model of digital library users’ satisfaction based on user experience.This paper put forward five hypotheses:user expectations and digital library user satisfaction has a positive correlation; digital resources of library and digital library user satisfaction has a positive correlation;good user experience and the digital library user satisfaction has a positive correlation; Service quality has positive correlation with digital library user satisfaction; users complain have negative correlation relationship with digital library user satisfaction.The empirical research mainly aimed at college students, teachers, using a questionnaire method to investigate the digital library user satisfaction, using data analysis method and SPSS software to verify the results of the survey. We’ve learned that according to the analysis results, the most of assumption in this paper was right. And on this basis,we puts forward some suggestions to improve digital library user satisfaction: Optimizing the collection structure, Improve the quality of library collection; Pay attention to user experience; Improve the quality of service of digital library and pays attention to personalized service, etc.
