In recent years, the competition between domestic video website is increasingly fierce. And the video websites put their competitive force in the field of homemade programs, including Video Industry Brand,such as Aiqiyi, Youku, Tengxun video, and Sohu video sites. All of them have started to make a program of its own characteristics.Since 2014, the homemade first year, the development strategy of the major video sites by the high price to buy the program to focus on the content of the production of copyright. Homemade programs have different degrees of improvement,not matter the quantity, quality or investment funds, market share proportion and so on. The focus of their competition lies in how to highlight the characteristics of the network of homemade show.This paper introduces the development of homemade show of video website.Aiqiyi, Youku, Tengxun video, and Sohu four video website as research object and major research in 2015.By comparing the different homemade show of video sites’ competition situation, comparing the advantages and disadvantages of homemade show’s competition between the video site and representative of local television’s homemade show, between video website and overseas brand program competitiveness.Then we can find out the existing problems in the market competition and puts forward reasonable and effective competition strategy. Hope to have certain reference significance about the good development for our homemade show of video website.
