The Narrative Research Of People’s Daily Online’s Microblog

In human development history, while the media’s carrier has been changed, people are still obsession with exploring infinite information. Advancing technology and new emerging media forms make it possible to the appearance of innovative tools, and microblog is a typical example. As a repres entative in new media, microblog is one of the most significant channel to get news and has many good traits, such as neat content, fa st speed and effective interaction with audiences. Therefore, the narrative research of microblog news is becoming a focus in academic community.This study takes People’ s daily online’s microblog as a subject, and its microblog news are samples of this study. Ther esearch theory are based on narratology and journalism narrotology. Qualitative method and quantitative method both are applied in analyzing samples and this study consists of 3 parts.The first part gives a general introducti on of research background, research subject and analysis method.The second part analyzes People’s daily online’s microblog news from two main parties which including narrator, narrative perspective, narrative time, narrative rhetoric and narrative structure.With exemplification and data analysis, the samples’ narrative traits and style can be concluded. The third part contains research conclusions and applicable suggestions. The previous analysis shows that People’s daily online’s microblog news are followed by strict narrative rules, have a professional journalism narrative literacy. However, there are several problems cannot be ignored. The microblog news are lack of clear narrative subjects, misusing introductions and missing text information. In order to solve problems as mentioned, People’ s daily online’s microblog must erecting its unique narrative style, and keeping its narrative techniques consisting with its social status as well as following new media’s technology revolution.
