The Design And Implementation Of The Operation Support System Of Ningxia Telecom IPTV Platform

IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) means internet protocol television and it is a interactive technology which use wide band Internet or mobile Internet provide for family, government, enterprises, business users with video, audio, text and images information. IPTV is new view on TV,it will bring great changes for people’s lives and plentiful experience of entertainment. In the integration of three networks policy, Ningxia Telecom needs to take IPTV market share of Ningxia area in the first time. Therefore, Ningxia Telecom urgently needs a complete set of IPTV business solutions and a full set of products. One of the most important part is the operation support system of IPTV platform.According to the above requirements, the operation and support system of IPTV is designed and implemented in this paper. Operation support system provides service management and service support for IPTV platform, function including openning and managing user account, authentication, charging, operating and managing of platform, report analysis or other functions.The main content is as follows:1, Based on the relevant theoretical basis of IPTV, according to the current situation of Ningxia telecom network and service operation, a set of IPTV operation support system has been designed. The system is by means of the C language compiler or shell script design software module, taking advantage JMS(Java Message Service) development related interfaces, in the use of Oracle system manage users and bill data.2, Setting the main function of the operation support system:User management: openning an account, account state changing(cancellation, stop and recovery), reset the password, management of the users’ order relationship(including single product order, monthly product ordering and unsubscribing). Billing management: billing service for users(including billing and charging according of the single and monthly products). Management Portal: show the function and the page through in the way of visualization and operation. Report statistics: including IPTV users online, orderring and other circumstances of the statistics. Resource Management: the network management system. Rights management: including the operator’s management, user role management, operator rights configuration and other functions.3, Design and implementation of operational support system:At first, the hardware architecture of the system is designed. Secondly, the logical structure of the software system of the operation support system is designed, which is divided into four modules: management portal, application service, database and service control. The business rules and processes related to the IPTV operation support system are also designed. At last, the system software is designed completely, including service process module, interface service module, service logic control module, report module, resource management module, user database.4, Functional testing of operational support system:Testing environment and testing methods is planed. Test result is arious functions’ logic is normal. The conclusion is that the system is running normally.
