Now the laptop will packaging a layer of transparent plastic out the computer box, but the customer will not easy to open the plastic film if do not make some holes on the plastic film. Customers could open the box easily with easy tear line on the plastic film. The practice of traditional production easy tear line has the following kinds:One way of doing this is to position at the edge of the box or bag rushed to play easy tear line, the user can tearing down the packaging along the easy tear line. Another approach is print cutting tooth use tooth knife at the edge of the packing box, customers along the tooth side open the package. There is a more common practice now, with the laser cutting easy tear line on the box. It can adjust the parameters of laser marking to avoid will play in packaging film, will not leave a mark in the box, lest affect beautiful packaging. But this method is not easy to fixed position, especially some place witch requiring high precision.In recent years, The application of machine vision technology is also more and more in the industrial field with machine vision related software and hardware technology become more mature. This topic is determined by the use of machine vision image positioning technology, combined with laser marking technology, not only can guarantee the accuracy of marking location but also can ensure the beautiful of the box. This paper is to put the apple laptop case as research object, and cooperation with Han’s Laser in Shenzhen, research and development of the apple laptop box easy tear line based on machine vision system for laser marking equipment, after the production users can be easily open the box.This paper introduces the principle of machine vision technology and its development status both at home and abroad first, and then introduces the development of laser marking technology and its application in industry. Main research content includes the following parts in this paper:First, the location in the image processing method was introduced in detail, in this system for different surfaces were used according to the target area the size of the method and the use of template matching method to locate. Then introduce the process of edge detection in image processing, and passed the coordinates to the laser marking software after get the edge of the target coordinates. Laser marking software will control the laser marking on the box according to the coordinate values. Finally use the Visual Studio 2010 as a development tool, and complete the software on the basis of HALCON Visual library. The working process and operation are introduced of the software in this paper.The software which based on machine vision system has good robustness through the analysis of the results and the experimental verification. And through the test at the scene of the production many times. Provides technical guidance for achieving automation. And provides a more feasible solution for the factory which have similar requirements.
