Design And Implementation Of Children’s Growth System Based On IOS

With the improvement of living standard and life quality, parents are currently drawing more attention on children’s comprehensive development rather than limited to physical growth. At the same time, the usage of mobile device has dramatically increased, which allows people to access to various kinds of resources based on Internet or mobile app at any time and more easily communicate with others. All those current situations inspired the main idea in this article that is, making healthy growth easier by informing parents of ways to improve their children’s well-being and tracking progress with application from mobile terminal.This article demonstrates the detailed design of developing process of a mobile application that can take care of children’s growth, and proposes an evaluation in the end. The whole process is realized based on iOS operating system which includes design, developing and testing. There are five main functions of this application:(1)Checking health information and viewing experts’information; (2)Tracking the child’s height and weight during growth:(3)Establishing a chat room between parents and doctors; (4)Providing phone communication channels between parents and expert; (5)Accessing to nutrition market to supply suitable nutrition. At present, there are many similar products come to the market; however, the safety and effectiveness of these offerings are usually not guaranteed. In order to provide high-quality care, this application is supported by several professional teams of both children growth experts and marketers. It is not only designed from parents’perspective, but also analyzed from experts" view. This research is expected to be able to assist children’s growth and become a parents’ indispensable life helper.
