The Design And Implementatiion Of The National Children’s Nutrition And Health Monitoring Data System

With the development of computer and network technology, computer science wasincreasingly and widely applied into some cross-disciplinary fields, such as military,politics, medicine, education, and science research, which was leading to people’sconcern. In the context of rapid developing of society, it is highlight for the convenience,prompt and efficient informationization office work, which is beginning to replace forthe traditional work model. Now the informationization construction is developingwarmly in multiple industries, of which, the industry of medicine and health has beenused extensively. It is evitable for health informationization in the development ofnational health services. And it is critical for the in-depth reform of medical system. It isalso a significant measure to achieve the goal of basic medical and health service foreveryone. National children nutrition and health monitoring was the category of publichealth service. The platform of public health information was one of all-round,comprehensive management platforms, which means that it is important for theimplementation of strict top-level design and the construction of informationstandardization for the inter-conversion and share among each data of informationsystems.The thesis is based on the National Children Nutrition and Health Monitoring Project(NCNHMP), we have designed the National Children Nutrition and Health MonitoringData Online Reporting System (NCNHMDORS) according to the requirements ofnational children health examination and NCNHMP. The main work of this thesisincludes:(1) the uniform data structures and models are established based on theNational Basic Public Health Services Guidelines (2011);(2) The system platform,computing model, dataset, and software function are designed based on the demandanalysis of NCNHMDORS;(3) The system is implemented and tested on the.Netplatform.The structure of this system is consisted of three levels. We put the application authority into community health centers and town hospitals for down-top datacollection of children nutrition and health, which was integrating into the function ofreport forms management, cooperative work, resources management and emergencycommand in the basic hospitals. The purpose is to utilize the statistical analysis (such asmedical statistical analysis, characteristic analysis) to find out the current status andshortage of national under5children nutrition and health and to provide reliable andeffective evidences for the policy-making of administration departments.
