Homosexuality in China has a history of several thousand years. Gay community has been in a position of not being accepted by the mainstream, thus they have been dissociated on the edge of society for a long time suffering tremendous pressure. On 26 June 2015, the US Supreme Court judged that same-sex marriage is legal across the country and the United States has become the 21contry which has legalized same-sex marriage. Although there is no relevant law in China, lesbian community ignored by social conventions is trying to express their inner voices.Development of the Internet has profoundly changed the way people think and their communicative behavior. Also, network builds a virtual space to bring new life experience. In this context, this study will be placed in the lesbian community network context, paying attention to their network of self-presentation and communicative behavior in everyday life. Combination of virtual ethnographic and fieldwork as research methods, this paper has been participated in observation of the use of lesbian APP "The L" lesbian groups for more than ten months, as well as interviews and research. Focusing on the existence, identity and interaction, namely the three dimensions of the network, and the reality of the lesbian community in-depth investigation, this thesis try to explain the network survival status lesbian groups.First, in the dimension of presence, it is found that the gay community has gone through such a process from silence to compromise rights revolt. Development of the Internet has brought opportunities to the gay community and breakthrough, thus the author chooses lesbian APP "The L", with a number of users, as the object of the case study.Secondly, in the dimension of recognition, around the chain of identity, identity disclosure, identity performances, the author tries to explore how the network has changed the identity of the lesbian group identity. The study has found that the network has promoted a certain extent, stimulated the birth and strengthened the identity of the lesbian community. Changed identity strategies for their identity provides a new way of recognition which has accelerated the process of their identity.Thirdly, in the dimension of exchanges, through field surveys and in-depth interviews, this study describes the emotional life of lesbian groups, discusses their feelings with heterosexual feelings similarities between dissimilarities. In the face of marriage, how they made their choices. The use of the network social interaction in online lesbian community ultimately has to return to real life. As a socially marginalized and stigmatized group, in order to avoid loneliness and solitude, seek attention and approval, look for a romantic relationship and get a sense of security, they tend to self-select out and participate in group interaction. On the one hand the network has connected scattered lesbian individuals in real life together and formed their own circle. On the other hand the reality of network communication and interaction will continue to extend this circle.The author has found that for lesbian community, network acts as a platform of information dissemination, social interaction and group formation. They disclosed the identity of this platform to show emotion and self-expression. Development of the network for the lesbian community provides a possible way to protest, so the community regards their presence as a fight for more understanding, tolerance and recognition. But the development of the network has also spawned a younger age and lesbian community entertainment.Survival network lesbian community is not only an individual behavior and collective behavior, but also a continuous update process to be built. In this sense, the network space exists as a modern public sphere, which carries not only the expression of personal experience, but also a closer way to a kind of promoting social progress and social force for change. Based on the existence of network lesbian community, the author has presented the status of lesbian community and characteristics in the network community to express their views and opinions.
