As a kind of "deep reports by revealing the truth", it became the of the "weapon" of traditional TV media, which plays an important role in the public supervision, government’s propaganda, principles and policies.As an important form of in-depth reporting, television in-depth reporting, also plays an important role. The "News Probe" have gone through numerous ups and downs since its first broadcasting in May 17,1996 til now. This year is the 20th birthday of "News Probe". Therefore, the study of "News Probe" is of great significance.This paper firstly explains the meaning of in-depth reporting in the present and television in-depth reporting in our country, as well as the history development and achievement of the "News Probe". But, in the new media environment, TV media inevitably impacted by the new media, this paper analyzes the new media has a impact on what aspects of television in-depth reporting. Subsequently, it analyzes the representative television in-depth reporting the highest level of "News Probe" in which way has been the impact of new media, television in-depth reporting new media industry is facing impact and what measures are taken to deal with.About the sample selection, the research methods of this article uses the qualitative and quantitative research methods, through the systematic sampling and analysis of "News Probe" in the past ten years, and concluded a general idea of the top ten years development of "News Probe", and then analyzed the development of television in-depth reporting in the traditional media environment. Here, we selected two years of "News Probe" in 2009 and 2013 as the research sample, because the rise of mini—blog in 2009 and 2009 and the rise of We-Chat is generally a symbol of the rise of new media.This paper mainly analyzed the "News Probe" from its selected topic, research type, orientation, reporting in 1996-2006,2009 and 2013 respectively.
