The Design And Implementation Of Digital Map Productionmanagement System

Aiming at the low degree of data sharing and information communication between different software systems and the problem of lack of efficiency in the management of quality, "the digital map production management system" based on the workflow concept isdesigned and developed in the thesis.Based on ASP.NET development platform, The systemgave full consideration to the unit leadership, business executives, data check and cartographers requirements, and using C/S and B/S mode, the system build a set of tools that can provide for functions including task create, progress query, data download, data upload and technology communication. At last, the system improved the level of the scientific management of digital map production and operation efficiency.The author’s main work is as follows:(1) Introduced the content of the workflow technology, digital map production technology and ASP.NET technology, and analyzedthe reason which caused the deficiency of the existing digital map production mode.(2) Analyzed the digital map production process in detail, and summarized the functions of "the digital map production management system"from the leaders, engineers, cartographers and all other system users’view.(3) Based on ASP.NET and ADO.NET designedand developed the "the digital map production management system", which implemented the management and supervision of digital mapping process, and facilitated the cartographers’daily work.(4) Realized the connection with the original of surveying and mapping equipment information management system, personnel information management system and other map editing software system, which can take advantage ofthe functions of the systems concerned.The digital map production management systemhas been widely used in the production of the regulation series scale map, which improved the scientific management leveland the production efficiency.
