Design And Implementation Of Digital Works Rights Management System

In information economy era, digitalization which relies on computer technologies and internet technologies has shown unbeatable advantages in information storage, processing, analyzing and mining. Digital work gradually becomes a main approach of information transaction. However, digital work has fatal inefficiencies obviously. When accompanied with the transaction of the copyright of use of a digital work, the regenerated property of the digital work transfers at the same time, which results in free use of the work. Someone might obtain, for example, commercial benefit from this without any limitation. On the internet, a virtual digital space, sometimes it is impossible to clearly distinguish user, or to explicitly distribute and constramt user manner to these digital works. To conquer above problems, a frontier technology, digital rights management technology (DRM) which Microsoft, Adobe and other software magnates have involved in, is on board.Through deep analysis to the DRM technology and its work procedure, on the basis of knowledge of DRM work flow and digital watermark copyright management technology, a multiple technology-involved digital rights protection and digital privilege management system is introduced in this thesis, the digital work rights management system. An extensible platform used to securely distribute digital works is realized in the system. By using this platform, people can transfer music, video, personal information and other digital works with protection. Consumer could easily obtain legal digital contents, and content owner's copyrights are properly protected at the same time. Main work involved in this thesis:1. Analysis to DRM work procedure and clear knowledge of DRM work flow;2. Analysis to the current DRM technology, knowledge of digital watermark and encryption technology in DRM applications;3. Design of system structure of the digital work rights management system;4. Design and realization of digital work registration work flow;5. Design of the application of digital water mark in the digital work rights management system;6. Test of the digital work rights management system and result analysis.Currently, the digital work rights management system is designed to meet network era copyright management. When internet technology further develops, the digital work rights management system will be more widely applied in the future, and simultaneously, with the further maturity of digital rights technology, it will be perfected much more.
