Optimization Studies For Special Library Network Information Service

With the innovation and development of Internet technology, library information construction is also gradually showed a trend of diversification, service mode, resource construction and information dissemination process began the digital and Internet. The main direction of the library service from the traditional documentation services began to change knowledge-based services, meanwhile the network information service proportion is growing. The special library as a special agent in library and information area, should make full use of the new Internet technology, deep mining information resources, use a variety of services, provide the researchers of industry with deep, personalized, professional service.In this paper, using questionnaire survey,data statistics, combined with the literature analysis and comprehensive research method, discussed optimization of the network information service in special library, analyzed the disadvantages of the National Geological Library Of China network information service, which is on the basis of comparing analysis of the current situation of domestic and foreign special library information service. According to the development of network information service means and service model at this stage, combined with readers surveys to find the National Geological Library Of China network information services problems in network information service process, service means and service model, such as service process incomplete、demand response delay、follow-up services can’t keep up,Service System function imperfect、personalized service lacking、service propaganda inadequate interactive function defective and so on. According to the study of corresponding solutions in order to realize the optimization :By enhancing the network information service process management, strengthening the online consulting services, increasing the personalized push, constructing knowledge base, improving website functions and resources construction to optimize the National Geological Library Of China network information services. meanwhile considering the quality evaluation mechanism,encouraging mechanism can’t be ignored.
