In this study, we take the system of Internet of things of mutton-sheep farming as a reference object, which was constructed by Aoqun animal husbandry company in Tianjin. We thoroughly study the production process and the rule of mutton-sheep farms. Combining with the new requirements and new characteristics of modern enterprise management, adopting the B/S(Browser/Server) three-tier architecture technology which has clear structure, choosing My SQL as backend database management software, using Java, Html, CSS, Java Script and other computer languages, we complete the muttonsheep breeding management information system based on Internet of Things. The system has been tested and run well. It is safe and stable in the process of running. The system function is relatively complete and very practical. The system interface is friendly. Human-computer interaction is simple and quick. This research mainly completed the following five aspects of content:(1) In actual development process of the system, based on the Internet of things of mutton-sheep farming, using programming languages, we build the mutton-sheep breeding management information system which can integrate into the Internet of Things system. It not only realized the intelligent management of mutton-sheep production data, but also the efficient management of mutton-sheep farming enterprise.(2) In the process of system design, we use the data preprocessing and logical judgment to avoid wrong data entry. It ensured the accuracy of mutton-sheep production data.(3) Through the establishment of the management information system, we collect a variety of mutton-sheep production data in real time. It guaranteed the timeliness of mutton-sheep production data.(4) In terms of statistical analysis of data, the system calculated breeding value by calling DMU analysis software of the backend server. It completed mutton-sheep breeding management.(5) With the Java Web technology, this study has built the mutton-sheep breeding management information system which can be accessed by the Internet. It realized the remote operation management of mutton-sheep and accelerate the modernization of mutton-sheep breeding industry.The system mainly consists of seven modules: system management, sheep management, production management, reproduction management, breeding management, sheep farm management and information maintenance. The system administrator can change the user information through system management module, setting the user level, viewing the help file and exit system; sheep management module provides the basic information and pedigree information of sheep; production management module contains sheep production performance information, disease information and death information; reproduction management module recorded the mating information and reproduction information of ewe; sheep farm management module provided the information of feed and drugs; breeding management module can calculate and save the trait breeding value; Information maintenance module can integratedly query information according to constraints and bulk import information, but also to modify the threshold of some data.
