Driven by today’s mobile operators, the location services are gradually penetrating into people’s lives. At the same time, with the smart terminal equipments growing popularity, the applications of location services based on the user’s position are more and more widely, and are gradually becoming a new hotspot of today’s mobile Internet research.There are various ways of the user positioning technology about the smart devices and the research methods are also different during the wireless network communication. At frist, the thesis introduces and analyzes the various methods and principles of the user positioning technology of the wireless communication, more importantly, we have studied and discussed the user positioning technology about the base station, we calculate the distance between the user and the base station by the wireless signal attenuation model, and then making it a parameter, we design the algorithm model of estimating the user’s location based on the Least Squares Method,on this basis, we design and implement the user positioning system based on the information of the base station, the system includes two modules, which are the mobile-side user positioning module and the server-side user tracking module. In the end, we propose a fusion positioning model by combining the GPS, WIFI positioning technology and the station positioning system, and it solves the limitations and disadvantages of the single-user type of positioning technology. Specifically, the main work is divided into the following sections:Fristly, the thesis mainly describes the positioning technology of the base station, we calculate the distance between the user and the base station location by using the signal attenuation model, and then by combining the multi-distance data and the position information of the base station itself, we design the user positioning location algorithm of the Least Squares Method, and finally realize the algorithm.Secondly, we design and implement positioning module of mobile-side user, we can exactly display the current user’s location information by combining with Baidu map, in the specific implementations, it includes many functions, such as the information acquisition and processing of the original base station, the user positioning calculation and the display of the user map information, and so on.Thirdly, we design and implement the server-side user tracking module, which is a user-centered monitoring system, according to the user’s positioning information transported by mobile client, we can view the user’s historical data and track the user’s trajectory exactly.Fourthly, we come up with the data fusion positioning model based on the different types of the positioning data, in this model, through comparison of experimental data and theoretical analysis, we can conclude that to a certain extent, it can provide more higher location accuracy than the single location positioning type.
