In the fourth generation of radar, active phased array technology has become the mainstream application, is actually by orderly control the amplitude and the phase of each active unit in the array antenna to form a scanning beam in space. Transceiver module is constituted the basis of active phased array radar, its volume, weight, cost and reliability, parameters have a direct influence on the radar,and actually it’s the core of active phased array radar technical and tactical functions.From the frequency point of view, each frequency band has its practical advantages. VHF radar has unique advantages, in recent years in anti stealth and anti radiation missile has embodied the advantage caused by the radar community attaches great importance. The development trend of Minami Mi coordinates of the radar is a high performance and multiple functions, to improve the performance of radar itself, development of a multidimensional measure information, play anti stealth, anti radiation, anti interference of inherent characteristics, such as external further on towards the intelligent, miniaturization direction. In terms of polarization, as an important research area of radar anti stealth, it is also very valuable. With polarization selective function of transceiver components become important category of the VHF radar development demand, due to the characteristics of area of the parties. Now according to active phased array technology in the fourth generation of radar applications, VHF polarization transceiver module has a very practical meaning of research and development.The item based on the study, understand classical transceiver module principle, conventional polarimetric channels based on, combined with the actual characteristics of the VHF radar. Through the design, calculation, simulation and other methods, VHF polarization transceiver module of the overall frame frame design, transmission link design of the power amplifier, phase shifter design, determine the polarization transceiver module of the framework, to carry out complete engineering research and development work. In the process of research and development on the prototype of the consistency of amplitude and phase of research, environmental adaptability experiment. Secondly, through the engineering prototype verify the design is correct and the manufacturing feasibility, finally concluded the design of transceiver components should be considered in focus.According to actual radar development needs, innovative design and implementation of a VHF polarization transceiver module.
