With the flourish of the national railway, the train operation control system has been developed from the fixed block mode to the moving block mode. The train positioning technology is one of the key technologies of the train control system with the moving block mode. The accurate and reliable positioning information is the necessary conditions to assure the safety of train operation. This paper completes visualization train track positioning management platform on the basis of receiving train positioning data based on time, personnel can grasp the running state of the train at any time through this system, which is providing the basis for safe driving.This paper applies GPS technology, GIS technology, map matching technology, database technology and network technology to construct Wamp (software combination Apache+MySQL+PHP under the environment of Windows Server 2003) platform which can be applied to train tracking and positioning based on the data acquisition of GPS positioning. The design of train tracking management platform can be divided into receiving and processing module of GPS positioning data, data server and data access module and train tracking positioning terminal management platform based on GIS. GPS positioning data receiving and processing module makes use of custom frame format to receive the real-time train position information from GPS acquisition module(lower computer), the data after parsing is stored in the location information data table based on time corresponded to MySQL database. The data server and data access module contains the line database corresponding to the MapInfo and the location information of each train based on the time, and those data and information can be used for completing the data sheet of the train tracking and management. The train tracking positioning terminal management platform based on GIS applies is designed with B/S architecture, web page display can be the PC terminal or the mobile terminal, the platform combines the line database and MapInfo, taking the map matching algorithm based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation as the core, to complete a line data base, an exact match of the GPS train positioning information and track digital map, finally completes the correspondence between the positioning point and the line, the information trace and display of train path, the inquiry of train history running status, platform management and other functions. The design of APK Based on Android phone mainly takes its convenience into account, developed under software environment of Eclipse, and interacts with Java language and database server to achieve the same functions that train path tracing and history view. Finally this system is tested in the simulation field environment of railway. The test result, the positioning accuracy is ranged in the 2 meter, and the map matching refresh time is 20 seconds, shows the desired effect, and verifies the applicability of platform on the train track positioning in the field.Compared with the traditional train positioning models, the train tracking positioning system based on Web, GIS, GPS, database and map matching algorithm reduces the trackside equipment for train positioning, reduces the complexity of the system, and it is convenient for the users to learn the real-time running state of the train. At the same time the positing system provides some reference for the further development of the moving block mode of train operation control system.
