Abstract:Because of Media Convergence, the narration of Chinese TV series had the obvious changes. Media field; demands from audience; and Communication platform etc.; those, from Media Convergence, urged Chinese TV series to make difference on production and environment for audience. Furthermore, now, people can watch drama by the Smart Device(include smart phone, PC, and Tablet PC, etc.) and Television. For the huge change of internal conditions and external environment, the narration of Chinese TV series is also changing. Thus, now, Chinese TV series is beginning to meet a new age, Cross Screen Age.Author of this article is based on research of Production concept; dissemination mechanisms; and narration tactics of Chinese TV series to analyze and give some opinion of why the narrative features of Chinese TV series was changed by Media Convergence, and how could idea and future direction of Chinese TV series’narration change. Whole article is based on 4 main parts:Introduction is about background and mean of subject; summarize of Chinese and foreign articles; method and idea of research. Chapter 1 is about new background of Chinese TV series that is changed by Media Convergence. Author’s analysis is based on the change of media technology; audience resources; media system; demands from audience; and Communication platform. Chapter 2 start with how Media Convergence impelled the change of TV series’ production concept. Author analyzed how Media Convergence made such as CiWen Media Corporation to approach their turning point of thinking and made the changes. Then, author also made the specific explanation about what kind of relationship between change of TV series’ production concept and change of TV series’ narration. Chapter 3 is about text analysis of Chinese popular webcast series such as "WuLinWaiZhuan" and "HuaQianGu" by 3 approaches, which are story elements; narrative content; and language style. Base on things above, author made the specific elaboration about the change of Chinese TV series’ narrative elements because of Media Convergence. Chapter 4 foregrounds narrative structure. Author takes popular dramas, such "LangYaBang", as an example to make a concrete analysis. Which is based on Media Convergence, the Chinese webcast series made creation on fallowing 3 pintos:narrative clue; narrative Logic; and narrative set rule.
