Design And Implementation Of Archives Information Mangement System Base On OAIS Reference Model

As the development of information technology, a large number of electronic records have been created. How to preserve and manage those archival data has become a primary task for archivists. Most of the archives management software used before cannot meet the need in such a circumstance any more, while Open Archival Information System (OAIS) reference model has provided standards and specifications for archives information system development to guarantee more efficient access to important archival data.Based on research about OAIS reference model, the thesis introduces the standards and concepts of the reference model. The thesis also analyses the design and development of archives information management system based on OAIS reference model and software engineering theory. The main content of this thesis includes:(1) Extensive research is made for OAIS reference model, analysis about archives information management system based on OAIS reference model developed in China and abroad is introduced. The key technologies adopted in the archives information management system are illustrated.(2) Demand analysis is conducted for the archives information management system based on OAIS reference model; analysis about the objective and principle are discussed, as well as the system infrastructure and main function models of the archives information management system are designed.(3) The data structure model and database are designed and realized in details. Besides,archives reference model, archives compilation model and system security model are designed and realized in details.(4) Description about of the system deployment environment is described; the search and business paper transaction functions are tested; the response time and display of parts of the software and evaluation of the application are displayed.The archives information management system designed and developed in this thesis has been installed and adopted by the user agency. This software helps the user agency to regulate the workflow of archives use.The system create a complete archival database and guarantee its safety, The safety, specifications and regulations of the archival data management is guaranteed. It make users find requested archives in a much quicker and more accurate and efficient way.
