Design And Implementation Of Customized Model Information Management System Based On CTO Production Mode

With the popularity of computers, what every IT company constantly thinks out is how to make its products out of the morass of homogenization. At the same time, the individual needs of consumers and industrial users are more and more prominent. Therefore, CTO(Configure to Order)mode came into being. This model provides customers with personalized product customized solutions and produces and delivers to customers according to configuration. This paper aims to design and implement customized variable configuration model information management system and provide users with system management, CTO generation, data management and user report management functions. It will be able to provide product customization and mass distribution services to large customers in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.ASP.NET framework and modular architecture which improves system flexibility and scalability are adopted in this information management system. By analysizing product and user needs, the author divided the system to four modules and implemented each of them.System management module includes mail template, menu search, role authority and user information search functions. It focused to achieve role authority maintenance and menu search logic through menu’s name, menu’s ID or parent menu’s ID.CTO generation module provides users with product hierarchy displayand CTO configuration after downloading BOM from CRM. Users can publish, add or delete some CTO number in the page of product hierarchy after verifying CTO cost. They can complete the configuration of every characteristics of CTO according to their own needs.Data management module implements the function of maintaining several CTO factors, such as, characteristic name, characteristic value, V-leadtime, system language switching, city management, T1、T2 uplift price and archive management. As the system provide service to three regions, three language options of Chinese, English, Korean can be switched.Report module aims to facilitate administrator to view T1、T2 channel information, internal user information and report output directory, REF ID report and C&V cost report. System will operate synchronously after local report being uploaded to system. Thus it can achieve the purpose of modifying the data of report.System verification results show that this information management system meet the functional requirements of providing customized products to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea. Some optimization operation will be made to the system by analyzing the results of customers’ feedback. Currently, the project has been put on-line and became a purchasing channel to big customers. The customization mode will be adopt continuously and we hope that we can bring convenient and efficient procurement to customers in more company and group.
