As a global electronic commerce enterprise, Amazon keeps ahead in e-commerce industry with its perfect and optimized logistics system. In order to ensure the distribution efficiency of the Chinese marketplace, Amazon has 13 fulfillment centers in China, the distribution of goods and orders all over the country is realized by truck transportation. Amazon wants to reduce the transportation cost, so it subcontract the line haul work to several third party carriers. But at the same time, the subcontracting work also brings issues in logistics operation process, such as data statistics and management in artificial way, opaque transport process and so on.Amazon used to do the line haul management by G7 system which is a third party service. The system realized real-time monitoring of trucks, but users can’t search information by line with it, and the system does not support the integration of other business data neither. Therefore, CN transportation team design and develop Amazon line haul visualization platform, to solve the problems in data integration, data analysis and real-time monitoring.In this project, the author take apart in the whole software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, system design, development and deployment. The work focus on the design and implement of system authority management, data processing, data analysis, real-time monitoring and exception handling functions. The author realized the automated integration and visualization of transport related business data, also provided related system service.In this paper, the author did requirement analysis based on actual business requirements, determined the functional requirements and non-functional requirements of the system. Afterwards, the author completed the system outline design which use Amazon web services to build computing and data storage environments, the system is divided to five modules including authority management, data processing, data analysis, real-time monitoring and exception handling, and completed database design. In system detail design and implement part, the author makes descriptions and module class design for each module, explain implement logic and relationship between function points for those key functions. In authority management module, design account management and system authorization management to protect security of the system. In data processing module, integrate transport related data which distributed in different systems into this system, provide 7X24 data service. And design exception detection functions to find out exceptions in time. Data analysis and real-time monitoring modules focus on visualization of the transportation data. Design method of predicting remaining line work by referencing Baidu maps’suggest result and history data analysis. Exception handling module mainly talk about the exception reminder’s logic and exception querying function.After the system online, data integration and processing function helps to solve the distortion problem caused by the artificial statistics, but also save the cost of human resource. System provides power digital credentials not only for transportation quality assessment and carrier KPI assessment, but also provides a data base for planning and optimization of working lines. Real-time monitoring improve the delivery punctuality rate, improve the users’purchase experience directly.
