Research On The Development Process Of Long-term Preservation Standards Of Electronic Ducument In China

Under the circumstance that the long-term preservation of electronic documents has been attached more and more importance, the thesis takes time as the main line and tries to make a stage summary and sorting of the related standard. The results of standard construction for each stage is analyzed, and the characteristics of standard construction results for each stage is summarized, so as to have a whole picture of the development trend of the standards of long-term preservation concerning electronic documents in our country. In terms of the standard of long-term preservation of electronic documents in our country, it has undergone the transition from physical carrier protection-oriented to the period where electronic document information protection is given more priority. It has formed a long-term preservation standard of practical guiding significance. In the future, it is also to have a vast potential for development.This thesis can be divided into five major parts. To start off, in the first part, namely the Introduction, it is a brief presentation about the research content and significance, the connotation of long-term preservation of electronic-documents, and the research status home and abroad. The second, third and fourth part following it are respectively three basic periods throughout the development process of long-term preservation of electronic documents, namely the tentative exploration period, the standard implementation period and theory discussion and development period. Additionally, it involves analysis of the social background, standard result and standard construction features of each stage, as well as the impact on the practice of long-term preservation of electronic documents. Last but not least, the thesis comes up with the standard system in terms of long-term preservation of electronic documents and expresses the expectation of the future direction of development of electronic documents.
