Children’s television program is to children as a specific object type of program, which is a branch of China’s TV program for social education. In 1958, Beijing TV broadcast dedicated to make kids children’s program, 2003 CCTV children’s channel was formally launched. Just beginning to continue to explore the professional channel now, through more than 50 years of development, children’s TV program is more mature.In 1985, Ju Ping appeared to have a full-time director of children’s TV programs, and the children’s TV programs began to go to the stage of development. Now, the major children’s channels, children’s programs are rich in type, a host of adults, children’s host,dolls, and Virtual Science fiction. Children’s TV program host for children’s influence is subtle, affecting the lives of all aspects of their lives.With the development of children’s television program, its function is constantly changing. In the early stages, the type and content of the program are relatively simple, and the meaning and purpose of the broadcast is to educate and educate. After the full time host,this situation has changed, the host is no longer a mere preaching, more into a guide,through language, behavior, manners, content and other aspects of the image of the impact of communication. This influence mainly through the image of the design and shaping,including their own image and program image, the image of the host has a series of Ideological and emotional factors, including the external image and the image of the two levels, their own image can be a strong appeal to the audience is the charm, the size of the charm of the host directly affect the image of the host, and the vitality of the host. Program image in different communication systems have different identification, image of our program for a long time was identified as the mouthpiece of the party and the people,specification of the host image produced important influence. However, in the face of the rapid development of society and the continuous transformation of TV environment, the host of children’s TV programs meet new challenges, one is to ignore the connotation of its own image, the two is to ignore the unity of the program image and the image of their own.This paper focuses on the design of children’s TV program host image, through four chapters, namely: the first chapter discusses the status of children’s TV programs and the host. The second chapter analyzes the external image design of children’s TV program. The third chapter analyzes the internal image design of the children’s TV program host. The fourth chapter discusses the development strategy of the TV program host. Through the introduction and analysis of these four chapters, it makes people more aware and understanding of the image of the host of children’s TV programs, and makes the audience more aware of the important role played by the children’s TV programs.In this paper, the method of literature data, field survey, and the children’s TV program host image design practice, analysis of the problem, to explore the development strategy.
