With the development of science and technology progress, 21 st century becomes the information age, and under the background of this era the micro-lecture comes forth. The emergence of micro-lecture have had a profound impact on the traditional teaching mode, and also raised the concerns of the researchers in the field of educational technology. At present, study for micro-lecture mainly focus on its application,followed by its design and development, but few people involves in how to make the micro-lecture research more standardized and systematic. So,this article adopts a new method that combine the co-word analysis with the mapping knowledge Domains, to intuitively display the main research hotspot, research direction, research topic and the main academic thought in the field of micro-lecture study and then to sort out the development process and reveal the evolution of micro-lecture, so that we can promote the further development of micro-lecture study.In this article, I selected the software US Citespace III, which is developed by Dr. Chen Chaomei, to draw the knowledge graph in the field of micro-lecture study. And finally I selected 42 main periodicals literature in CNKI as the periodicals source to draw the Mappingknowledge Domains relevant to micro-lecture from 2011 to 2015, and interpreted and analyzed the Mapping knowledge Domains.Firstly, from the analysis of high-frequency keywords Mapping knowledge Domains, it can be found that "flipped classroom", "micro-lecture application", "instructional design" and "educational reform" are still the hotspot in the field of micro-lecture study, but with the changing of times and the informationization of education, "micro-lecture design", "vocational college", "college English" are becoming the hotspot in the field of micro-lecture. Secondly, using the sudden-words detection method, we found that the sudden-keywords "micro-lecture", "application", "instructional design" and "vocational college" it have undergone great variation trend reflect the research cutting-edge in the field of micro-lecture study. Thirdly, the time-zone view shows the thematic structure change of micro-lecture, and we found that "teaching method", "learning resources", "educational reform" and "vocational education" are always the micro-lecture research scholars’ main focus. However, in the last year, the research theme in the field of micro-lecture began to change to "vocational education", "computers", "development", "vocational school" and so on. Finally,Citespace III divided the high-frequency keywords from 2011 to 2015 in the field of micro-lecture research into 9 clusters, including cluster 8 "primary Chinese" and cluster 9 "camtasia studio" that contained fewerkeywords, which can be used as the new research directions in the field of micro-research research.
