In the form of data visualization is a visual representation of the data for study of science and technology, is to transfer the data information and knowledge into a visual form. It can show the data intuitively and clearly, diversity to facilitate data analysis found the useful information, and make full use of people’s natural ability of rapidly recognizing visual mode to understand data. Marine environment has a large amount of data, which is difficult to analysis. Applying the data visualization technology to the marine environment data is now an important part of the ocean data analysis. Marine environmental data visualization has a lot of benefits for analysts to analysis ocean extreme weather, design ocean ship routes and forecast the number of fish on fishing location. Therefore, the research on application of data visualization technology in marine data has important research and application value.Firstly, this paper started from the data visualization method for preliminary analysis, looking for intuitive, fast and complete visualization of marine data. Secondly, research and implement marine environment scalar data visualization method based on cloud chart with color. Based on the principles of cloud image visualization, built the data mapping method and the visualization methods which is established on the MATLAB platform, and provided the specific implementation of visualization methods, make the surface temperature and concentration of sea surface height, chlorophyll, three kinds of visual products. The next, research and implement marine environment vector data visualization method based on geometric figure, vector data visualization methods based on arrow plot, after fusing a small area data, concrete implementations built on the Visual Studio platform help complete wind field visualization products. At the same time, using the data visualization techniques assisted data mining, displayed iterative clustering algorithm DBSCAN mining results step by step, and it is convenient to adjust the initial point iteration parameters, to improve effect by clustering interaction. Finally, designed and developed a set of data download, Marine environmental data visualization and visual data mining, and other functions as one of the Marine environment data visualization analysis application system based on the incremental model of software engineering, good results have been achieved.
