Smalland Medium-sized Enterprise Production Management System—inventory Management Subsystem

Inventory management subsystem is the core of the information management system. Moreover, it is the important and indispensable part of an enterprise.Inventory management subsystem can be widely used in various business enterprises, outlets,warehouse, etc. They use inventory management to manage the customer order,financial payment, inventory, purchase and sales together. At the same time, the inventory management subsystem can also provide information for e-commerce and other information technology,as well as other departments.With the rapid development of market economy and the growing of enterprises themselves, enterprises receive more and more customer orders. With that comes the huge change of the data of the loading and unloading materials. As a result of the increasing of the variety and batch production, inventory is undergoing increasing complexity and the need for a steady inventory management system is particularly urgent. Therefore, enterprises are supposed to apply modern information technology,manufacturing technology and management technology to effective management of enterprise inventory to optimize the operation of all kinds of information flow, shorten production cycle, improve production efficiency and product quality and improve the enterprise management.In this paper, a detailed analysis of the demand of the production management system has been carried on. The product inventory management function module,auxiliary function module and system maintenance function module of the inventory management subsystem is designed independently. The product inventory management module is composed of finished product warehousing, queries of the warehoused product, storage of materials, queries of warehoused materials, production picking,queries of picking production, queries of the information of the inventory materials.Tests show that the design of inventory management subsystem in this paper is of strong maneuverability and pretty good practicability. This system can greatly improve the efficiency of inventory management.
