Meteorological information service system has been the fundamental public utility of National defense construction, social development, economic construction and people’s lives. Making use of the modem technologies, such as modem meteorological observation technology, computer science, Internet and satellite communication, it carries out weather forecast information technology research, provides meteorological business service quality and it has important significance to the national economy and people’s livelihood.Now the problem is that many weather data of local Bureau of Meteorology come from the national meteorological centers or provincial meteorological centers, which are different formats and different standards. In addition, different meteorological sectors lack of communicate, view various monitoring data must go through different business service system. And this needs multiple independent software to make meteorological forecast. After making forecast, weathermen must distribute through all independent platforms, no unified distribution system, the efficiency is low. There are meteorological data from local monitoring networks, which store and display in different systems. It is difficult for meteorological personnel to manage data and forecast weather. The system analyzes the previous lack of weather systems and designs a new meteorological business service software combining with the new technology,The system is characterized by using an Oracle database, storing various meteorological data, adding new monitoring meteorological data, which combines with.NET Framework development platform and completes design of meteorological operational service system. The system is able to display a variety of meteorological data curves and graphics, with user-friendly operator interface and management capabilities by using ASP.NET technology. Additionally, the system also has the extensibility, reusability, adds new functions and publishes new information for future.
