As an important component in highway, railway, country road and water conservancy construction, the bridge construction plays a critical role in transportation industry. Since the cost for building the bridge is just of 10%-20% to the cost of highway, the bridge construction is benefitical to cut down the mileage and the cost for the complete highway construction. In the bridge construction, the design, the materials, the construction process of the highway bridge are important for the construction operation. Hence, systemly study and the innovation obviously are very important for bridge construction.Based on the background of the comprehensive communication and transportation in the Yunnan province, this thesis functionally analyzes the auxillary system for the bridge design in Yunnan provice. The operation system is designed according to the functional requirements. Our system contributes to the development of the comprehensive transport planning in Yunnan province, supporting the Yunnan province transportation and bridge simulation and aid decision system. The beidge aid design system is comprised of four key components as the basement platform, the application system, the support database and the model database. The presented software is developed based on the AutoCAD2008 plateform. Further, the VB.NET(.NET Framework3.5) is applied for functional software reengineering. The state of art software integrated development technologies, including object-oriented development technology, VB.Net, Visual Basic for Application, ObjectARX and so on, and the.NET function in AutoCAD2008 are jointly used to realize the functions. The module based software design and the integration technologies are used for coding software, as the reliability, maintainability and the generalization is ensured. The Initialization module, the PM module, the data input module, the bridge information module, the parameter module, the map module, the quantity module, aid tool module as the result are completely established to provide the fundamental basis and technological support for transport planning and miscellaneous function in Yunnan province. Finally taking the adaptation analysis and the application as the sample, the qualitative and quantitive analysis are introduced in the bridge design to evaluate the quality of the bridge design. Moreover, our system is combined with the transport planning information and the geographic information, providing a better method for the bridge design.
