In memorizing the Holocaust, most Holocaust museums in the world emphasize on trauma and tragedy of Jewish refugees. However, Shanghai Jewish Refugee Museum presents the happiness (or the luck) of shanghai Jewish refugees in remembering the tragedy they experience. In this article, I intend to discuss how this kind of happiness is produced, for what reason does it being produced, and how does it be accepted. In this article, I use the perspective of space sociology to discuss the produce of the happiness through three aspects:the physical space, the representation of space, and space changed by tourists. This article finds that based on the development of "Ark Road", as the core of "Ark Road", the museum’s physical space is not only the carrier of the happiness, but also present the happiness to some extent. Through the exhibitions, guides provide by volunteers, activities held in the museum, the museum is being combined with the tragedy in the memory of Holocaust. By exhibiting the process that Jewish refugees fled and their circumstances in shanghai, the representation of space becomes happiness in tragedy. During the development of the museum and the collection of historical data, the happiness is being increasingly emphasized, and happiness in tragedy gradually get some new meaning. This kind of new meaning are strengthened by visits of foreign officials, exhibits of refugees’own experience, etc. Finally, by visits of tourists, the means of happiness have changed and at the same time, the happiness is socialized. In the end of the article, I discuss the mechanism of the present of happiness. I found that it is the need of the government, and the new trend in memorizing the Holocaust makes the happiness in order to be presented in Shanghai Jewish Refugee Museum. Finally, I make some expectations of development of social space theory based on these conclusions.
