Evaluation Of User Satisfaction Of Rural Information Resources Allocation

Rural information resource is the collection of useful information in the rural socio-economic activities and the closely associated information equipment, personnel, systems, networks, etc. It is an important part of economic and social information resources. Actively promoting the construction of rural informationization and fully utilizing and integrating information resources plays an important role in ensuring rural society stability, promoting rural economic development, developing modern agriculture, and cultivating new-type farmers. Compared to urban information resources, information resources are still scarce in the rural areas. How to realize the organic combination of rural information resources in time, space and number aspect and make rural information resources meet the rural information users’needs are not only targets of rural information resource allocation, but also one of the main research questions to promote rural informationization construction.By constructing satisfaction evaluation index system and influencing factors model, this paper, from the perspective of users’satisfaction, makes an empirical research with Jiangsu Province as an example. On the basis of satisfaction and influencing factors analysis, this paper makes recommendations of improving information users’satisfaction for the allocation of information resources in rural areas.Firstly, through literature research, this paper summarizes the relevant theoretical basis of information resources and information resources allocation and analyzes the domestic and abroad research status of information resource allocation, rural information resources allocation and satisfaction. Secondly, making the use of publicly available data obtained from the Statistical Yearbook, Statistical Bulletin, research papers and other sources, this paper, from a macro-level, describes and summarizes the basic situation and development of rural information resources configuration of Jiangsu Province in recent years. Thirdly, referring to related rural informationization index system research and satisfaction theory and combining with the specific characteristics and actuality of rural information resources configuration, this paper respectively constructs user satisfaction evaluation index system and satisfaction factors model, and then accordingly designs rural residents survey questionnaire and expert survey questionnaire. Fourthly, select representative counties in the south, middle, north area of Jiangsu province to undertake on-the-spot survey. Take advantage of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to calculate the weight of index and make satisfaction analysis. On this basis, build Ordered Probit Model between satisfaction and individual characteristics of rural residents, rural information resource allocation situation, information utilization behavior among rural residents characteristic indexes to identify key indicators affecting rural information resource allocation satisfaction. Finally, according to satisfaction and influencing factors analysis, this paper points out the common problems among areas in Jiangsu Province and the specific problems of each area, and then gives relevant strategies to improve the users’ satisfaction of rural information resources allocation.
