Ways To Achieve Workflow Subsystem In Enterprise Document Management System

As the wide spread of computer and Internet technology, office automation management system was established in many enterprises and institutions, which has made E-documents emerge in large numbers. Enterprise electronic document management system realizes a comprehensive utilization form to receive, use and manage E-documents, and provides a way to search, browse, borrow and return E-documents, to post messages, etc. bases on limits of authority. It can reduce office cost, increase corporate transparency and lessen the working burden of document managers.The software involved in this paper is a document management system tailored to a well-known domestic enterprise. The system functions in introducing related documentary contents such as leading group, documentary products, research achievements; documents searching and browsing; accessing the system with different IDs to manage, maintain and communicate of documents; and check browsing history or one’s file state of examination and approval in real-time.The system was developed by jsp+servlet+tomcat+bibernate+oracle based on web browser. The writer of this paper was in charge of developing the part of document management, maintenance, examination and approval. Workflow technology was imported to examine and approve documents, monitor the examining procedure in real-time. Programmers can create, manage and maintain the system in the background. B/s mode was set in foreground to make the users login and borrow, browse, check, examine and approve documents in the explorer directly. And c/s mode was set in background to login the server with client to monitor progress, save data and modify the software.Experiments in this project used jbpm of jboss as development tool, jdk version 1.6 as operating environment. Hope to provide some references to developer who are working on workflow system.
