Design And Implementation Of ZigBee Wireless Sensor Network System

Wireless sensor network is a hot research field in the current international concerns, while ZigBee technology are widely used in wireless sensor networks with the advantage of low-power low-rate low-cost flexible networking and so on. This paper uses ZigBee short-range wireless communications technology to design a data transmission of wireless sensor network system.Firstly, this paper overviews the characteristics of wireless sensor network and its architecture and application status and analyzes several typical short-range communication technology. Secondly based on the characteristics of ZigBee standards and technology we describe the ZigBee protocol in detail. Then, this paper introduces the characteristics of ZigBee standards and give a detail analysis of ZigBee protocol.The structure of system is proposed in general and defined two main types of equipment in the network:ZigBee gateway and the terminal node equipment. The ZigBee gateway device collects data form terminal node equipment and transferred to the backend data processing center via the 4G network or Mesh Network. Combining the characteristics of the system this paper set up the node design specifications. According to the design specifications we have choose the equipment modules and main chips. Finally, we completed the schematics and PCB schematics of the ZigBee gateway and terminal node equipment.In the programming of the ZigBee wireless sensor network system this article briefly described the ZigBee protocol stack. Based on the protocol stack we programmed for different type of equipment and realized the establishment of ZigBee wireless sensor network. Finally, this paper complete the test of the network system’s function realization and reliability.The experimental results show that the entire ZigBee wireless sensor network system is stable and the data collected by each sensor node can achieve reliable transmission.
