Research On The Model Of Library Cooperation And Development Based On The Perspective Of Social Transformation

During the important period of the social transformation in our country, politics, economy, science and technology, culture and so on are faced with a comprehensive reformation. Library as a national cultural institution plays a role in guaranteeing citizens’equal access to information service. Its enterprise mission and social functions will bring about tremendous changes. Efficient mode of library cooperation and development is the key to achieving harmonious, equality, common development of librarianship in all society. The accurate judgment of the opportunities challenges and the clear system positioning of librarianship under the new situation are the premise and assurance of library cooperation and development at the period of social transformation. This article made a research on domestic library cooperation and development from a macro and top perspective, analyzed the similarities and differences between domestic and foreign from a professional perspective, revealed the current problem of domestic library cooperation and development, put forward the countermeasures and suggestions., looking forward for future cooperation and development of library. The author expected that the research could break the current bottleneck of domestic library cooperation and development and speed up the process of realizing universal, equal and free resources sharing at the period of social transformation.As far as the whole structure is concerned, firstly, this article studied the stage of social transformation of our country, analyzed the opportunities and challenges librarianship faced up with in social transformation period, scientifically located mechanism functions and enterprise mission of librarianship under the background, so as to reveal the necessity of library cooperation and development under the background of social transformation.Secondly, this article introduced the emergence and development of library cooperation, classified the types and main model of library cooperation and development. Taking USA cooperation mode for example, the thesis compared the construction mode of cooperation between America and China from system, policy and mechanism, technical support, coordination, social benefits, et al.Thirdly, revealed the problem of library cooperation and development model in China from the following aspects. Lacking of Effective security of the policy and law system in model construction, specialization and the refinement ability is weak on the model operating, the model to overlay is not balanced, the social identity level of the librarianship is low, and so is the fusion degree of model theory and practice, etc. for these existing problems, this thesis presented following countermeasures such as strengthening cooperation with the government, clarifying the responsibility of the government, avoiding system limitation; strengthening precise development, making the development mechanism perfect and not seeking perfection; improving the construction of relevant mechanism, and paying attention to the organization’s mission of library and so on.The last part, combining with the characteristics of the development of the whole society and the development stage of society and librarianship, this article analyzed and looked forward to the future of library cooperation in China. The thesis thought that the coordinate development of strategy, the convergence of resource sharing, the security efforts of universally equal and cross-border and cross-system library cooperation are the trend of the future library cooperation and development.
