The Development Of Measurement Management Information System For Metro Inc

The primary jobs of the Metro Corporation are the operation managements of the subway line network, the passenger traffic organizations and the maintenance of equipments and facilities. The operation and maintenance of subway is technically based on the measurement management. With increasingly openings of subway line, the work of maintenance and measurement management is raising accordingly. Therefore, the research and development which applies to the management information systems of the corporation are the urgent need of carrying out the work of measurement.The subject of this paper is Corporation metering management. The research status and technical development trend at home and abroad is fully acquired by the massive collecting of professional materials on measurement management, management information systems. Meanwhile, a comprehensive absorbing of theoretical knowledge of metering management information system is carrying out for comparing and analyzing, in order to e xtract the research idea of this paper.Based on this, the further study on the requirements of the users’ system is analyzing the current situation of the Corporation metering management, and to define the object of unifying the information management of measuring instruments, standardizing the work processes, improving the comprehensive analysis of statistical measurement management level. Then, the theoretical knowledge of management information systems and databases is using to start the X5 business platform for development tools. And the My SQL database is using to set up the measurement management information systems, the users’ information management, the management of measuring instruments, the measuring personnel management, the metrology management and the integrated information function modules. Ultimately, the measurement management will transform from the accounting formula by hand into a dynamic and systemic administration by the information network, which improves the management of the use of measuring instruments, tests, storages, and management processes.After operating the metering management information system, the Metro Corporation’s management will be more efficient.
