Research And Development Of Metro Information System Based On WebGIS

Geographical Infonnation System(GIS)is a new borderline subject, which integrates computer science, infonnation science, mathematics, statistics, spatial science , graph science, remote sensing science , telemetry science , environmental science, manage science and so forth. WebGIS is a kind of GIS based on web.It is a new application region of GIS to use GIS to process and update the data information of metro,so as to achieve the functions of manage information management, real-time monitoring,real-time prewaraing , 3D emulation. In this thesis, the condition of metro development and management is analyzed, the problems to be urgently resolved are discussed, and the research direction and working emphasis,namely construct method and key problems of metro information system based on WebGIS, are determined.The thesis introduces the conception , development and build-up infrastructure of GIS,analyzes its advantage, application and frame infrastructure , study the character and back-up frame, data organization and constructions model of WebGIS. On the basis of above, total objective of metro information system based on WebGIS is determined, function modules, graph layer design,data architecture, database management and software structure of metro information system are designed. MapXtreme for NT is selected to implement the metro information system based on WebGIS.The thesis focuses on the research of critical technology of the metro information system based on WebGIS. The resource of data is introduced;change-over data is achieved;real-time accumulation and management of selection data is implemented;geometric transformation of the graph betreem client/browse and web is realized;Optimization Algorithm Based on Dijkstra is used to select the shortest route,which is adaptation to metro routing.The thesis uses Guangzhou Metro as research background, designs andimplements a metro information system based on WebGIS.The development tools are MapXtreme for NT and ASP. WebGIS system implements the basic function of electronic map operation , such as map zoom in ,zoom out,pan,label,measure and Eagle-eye .What's more , WebGIS system implements the abundant query of geography and database.Finally, the thesis discusses about the limitations and bugs of the system as well as the future work to improve on it.
