As the subway becomes the core of city transportation network, more and more of subwaysystems, including city light railway, are built and run in many countries or regions. In order tomaximize benefits from the systems, both economic and social, the management authorities ofsubway are concerning most the selection and application of advanced technologies or otherscientific methods. Therefore, Nanjing Metro launched the design and implementation of IntegratedInformation Management System.Learnt from the implementation experience of global subway intelligent informationmanagement systems, and local management process, this thesis determined ‘Integrated design, separated implementation’ as the guideline of implementation, built Nanjing Metro IntegratedInformation Management System, realized the interrelation information sharing among all thesubsystems, and achieved unified platform, united management, unified portal and unifiedauthentication. By the application of Hierarchical component-oriented architecture with J2EEplatform, this thesis achieved single sign-on, unified information portal, the integrations of data andapplications through the integration technologies in the portal layer, business application layer anddata layer. With the selection of UNIX platform, Oracle database, Websphere middleware, PuYuanBPS workflow development, this thesis maximized the benefits of this information system in theconstruction and operation of Nanjing Metro, and provided comprehensive technical support to thescientific and meticulous management of Nanjing Metro.Through the implementation of this project, we achieved the Nanjing Metro comprehensivebusiness management of electronic and information technology, provided technical methods for thedemands of comprehensive and efficient management, strengthened the internal management ofNanjing Metro, improved the methods and efficiency of management, improved the accuracy, savedmanagement cost, provided comprehensive technical support to the scientific and meticulousmanagement for subway construction. |
