It provides people with the chances of getting more close to the truth, finding the truth, and it is also an important part and manifestation of citizen journalism. If offers people considerable convenience to participate in public affairs, and such public self-expression builds for themselves a certain platform for fair dialogue, which is currently needed in China in society transformation.Seen from the current trend of national development, the public need a free and fair platform for dialogue. As the current social reality is concerned, rapid development has brought changes in the whole social structure, and there is a clear hierarchical division of social groups, and people gradually do not have much time to meet and dialogue.However, people’s needs for understanding the information and communication remain,and more and more people begin to care about social and public affairs in all aspects.Such background prompts the formation of a platform for people to communicate and dialogue. Rapid development will inevitably bring potential problems, and behind the development of China, many cultural conflicts and even biases appear. Therefore,people require a platform for dialogue which is supposed to be able to establish correct modern cultural awareness and enhance the overall national quality. Citizen video news that will be discussed in this article provides a new way of thinking and direction for the establishment of such a public discourse space, and the author carries out study on the public discourse space it currently constructed.Starting from the special manifestations of citizen video news, based on the 230 pieces of citizen video news collected from Tencent shoot-off plate in 2015, the authorgives quantitative description, qualitative analysis, rational assumptions and reasonable discussion.
