Through our researchers tireless efforts and explore on the pulsed constant current source,we has made some research achievements in this field, but there is still a wide gap between domestic with abroad on the research of high-power nanosecond width pulsed constant current source, and the domestic can hardly products the reliable high-power nanosecond width pulsed constant current source application in engineering. For the problems in domestic high-power nanosecond width pulsed constant current source research and the product development work I did in the group of pulsed constant current source, paper mainly discussed the work on engineering practical design and development of 80 amps pulsed constant current source product in detail.By combing and summary the work on the process of engineering design and study of 80 amps pulsed constant current source, this paper describes the following aspects of engineering design work for the pulsed constant current source :(1) The output pulse current’s amplitude, pulse width, rise / fall time and overshoot oscillations of pulsed constant current source are important technical indicators to measure the merits of the pulsed constant current source’s performance. Based on the mathematical derivation of the pulsed constant current source circuit model, the deduction and calculation of the pulse edge compression control methods, and the study on the impact of the output waveform by the circuit coupling resister, and improved and optimized the overall circuit structure according to the theory, the pulsed constant current source output pulse current’s amplitude, pulse width, rise / fall time and overshoot oscillations and other technical indicators have significantly improve.(2) Because of the pulsed constant current source output pulse current’s pulse width in nanosecond, the electromagnetic compatibility of products should be consider in engineering design and research of pulsed constant current source, this paper mainly describes the improved EMC circuit design in circuit PCB layout and PCB grounding to enhance the electromagnetic compatibility of products pulsed constant current source circuit. And thesemiconductor laser driver by pulsed constant current source is very sensitive on driver pulse current, in order to protect the semiconductor laser and pulsed constant current source’s security, the perimeter protection circuit constituted by power-up sequence circuit, short circuit protection and over-current protection circuit was added.(3)Thesis completed the commissioning of the pulsed constant current source circuit and completed the prototype assembly work of the pulsed constant current source product, and particularity of the pulsed constant current source products, the module selection of the product inside are introduced. This article also tested the work stability of the manufactured pulsed constant current source prototype, and through the analysis and process of stability data tested of the prototype, the conclusion can be obtained that herein designed pulsed constant current source products with high work stability and It can be applied in practical work. |
