The research in this paper is mainly about how to design a50A high-power pulse constant current supply, which has been used widely in various fields.it is crucial to the whole system, a growing number of research institutions devote their energies to this area. In China, the researches on high-power pulse constant current supply started relatively late and is still in lower level, the key technical problem urgently awaits to be solved.Reference to the products which produced by international manufacturers, and according to the actual application, proposed the parameters of the pulsed driver. After this,designed the different part of pulsed driver circuit, they are pulse generator circuit MOSFET driver circuit、 stored energy circuit and DC/DC converting circuit. The principle of each part is also described, and analyzed their characteristics, also draw schematic.Before the actual circuit debugging, simulated the each functional circuit with pspice, to verify the circuit design, the simulation data was very significant to the actual circuit debugging.During the testing,the data that we got from the experiment dovetailed the theoretical analysis and simulation,after compared to products which producted by international manufacturers.we found our device reached the middle level of international products. On condition that pulsed width is located in ns level.the current magnitude of pulsed current is higher than the products contrastedIn debugging, we find that the output of the circuit rely on performance of MOSFET excessively, to solve this problem, try to design a new Complementary outputs circuit, which can reduce the overshoot of output、shrinks the width of pulse fall time. At last, the driver has been carried out and tested.Its pulse width、magnitude of current、frequency is adjustable.In addition,there is two mode of the trigger.The performance of driver reaches the required property index,some property even exceeds our expectation, such as the magnitude of current. In the process of testing,we found and solve someproblem, accumulated precious experience, also built the solid foundation for the further research.At the end of this paper, summarize the whole experiment, Certain limitations are also indicated,also pointed out the several direction that worth studying for the next step research.
