Expanding the Internet coverage, continued promotion of the high-tech information technology, makes the Internet as the one of the necessities of people’s daily communication. As the tool of the Internet, the network language naturally becomes the one of the most popular languages. For the network language, its popularity is not only in the Internet environment. It’s most used with the daily communication by people, and produce the phenomenon of the network language begin to replace the status of the everyday language. With the network language popular, make an impact on the people’s daily life and the usual language, the network language is not only a simple language. It forms a kind of the social phenomenon. Thus, the further study of the network language, and find out what is the cause of the popularity of the network language is full of valuable.In this paper, I focus on the communication process of the language. As the author think that the reason of the popularity of the network language is the Internet. If the language leave the Internet environment, there are not a lot of people will use the language, the language can not really widely spread.Therefore, this paper agrees that, in the agent of the lead of the Internet, any language want to be popular, must rely on the transmission power of the Internet. At the same time, the society also should focus on the important of the Internet and the network language makes the effects on the natural life. Via the analysis of the network language reflect the social problem, correctly and timely guiding the network language, and find out the right way to solve the problem.Base on this purpose, from the perspective of the media and the route of the transmission, the paper will do the deep research of the network language spread process. The full paper is divided into four parts: firstly, review the history of the language’s spread media, and summarize the characteristics of the language via the traditional media; secondly, discussing the unique nature of the Internet media, observation under the new media, the situation of thelanguage; thirdly, from the perspective of the media convergence, to see the network language how to use the traditional and new media to widespread;finally, analyze the influence of the network language and find out the measures. Besides, the paper also gathered a large number of the network buzzwords from 2009 to 2015, to prove the opinion :”now if any language want to be popular, it must based on the Internet”.
