Research Of The Database Audit Of Insurance Based On OLAP

As the frequent occurrence of invading, stealing and attacking the sensitive information in the database, and the stealing and tampering the data from internal staff become major threats, the database audit turns into the last barrier to protect the database relying on its ability to track and monitor users by specifying the database operation behavior. Though the database audit is an effective supplement to other database security technology, it becomes a severe problem to locate abnormal operating and analyze the valuable information quickly as the rapidly increasing audits records.To solve the problem, this article applies the on-line analytical processing (OLAP) technique to the database audit. The audit data is analyzed from the different perspectives and levels, such as time, users, permissions and specific operation, to locate and trace the abnormal operating records using the operation method of drill down, roll up, pivot and slice.It increases the efficiency of the database audit.After summarizing the method of the existing SQL Server database audit, it is found that manual analysis is not an enough efficient way. Thus the schem of SQL Server database audit based on OLAP technology is put forward. First the theme of the life insurance industry database audit is determined through analyzing the life insurance business processes and service database.The existing database audit technology is used to trace and monitor the business operation behavior which is simulated the behavior of life insurance stuff. According to the identified theme and the audit data after cleaning, the data warehouse of life insurance industry database audit is constructed. Finally based on the data warehouse built above, the users’login, backup, DML operations, DQL operations and so on are analyzed from a deep and multidimensional way. The abnormal operations are identified effectively, for example:users’login and operations with no permission, tampering with the salesmen’s ID,divulging users’ name and password. Based on different scenarios, the audit rules are summarized. And it proves to be an effective way applying OLAP technology to improve the audit data analysis. Aiming at the weakness of audit data analysis, this article applies the OLAP technology to life insurance industry database audit innovatively. And based on indicative function, the OLAP analysis process is improved.It optimized the method of SQL Server database audit and improved the efficiency of life insurance industry database audit.
