With the continuous expansion of the scale of Universities, Colleges asset management processes have become more and more complex, which making traditional manual statistics and simple statistical data cannot meet the intensity and pressure bring by tedious work. The development of computer and the advent of information technology make it possible to make asset management become intelligent. To develop a set of characteristics which can adapt to the school’s own asset management system has momentous practical significance and high value in use.Based on the needs requirement of asset management on the university, the thesis achieved the development of the asset management system. To be met the characteristics of the modern university asset management, the thesis gave a real-depth investigation on asset management needs, by means of an advanced object-oriented software development methodology, based on a comprehensive needs analysis, and the use of the overall design and detailed design of the system which is advanced object-oriented design techniques, the logical structure of asset management system which in line with its own characteristics was proposed. Finally, by means of the current mainstream.NET platform, C# programming system was used to achieve the asset management system which has a simple interface, better interactive and improved function. Current mainstream C# is used as the primary development language. B/S combined with C/S is the system’s architecture. The developed system has following characteristics:Firstly, the idea of software engineering was followed to enhance module cohesion and reduce the coupling between modules to make the system’s architecture more stable and the design of system function module more comprehensive; secondly, the system has better scalability by means of interface design, and the code reusability is reflected with the code development; thirdly, the system has a good user interface experience to achieve normal operation by designing better interactive experience.Currently, the design of the system has been completed. With the use of the developed system, the degree of standardization of the school asset management and service efficiency can be improved. However, due to many factors and constraints, some short comings are inevitably existed both in the design and in the implementation, we will continue improving and making it perfect through the practical application to meet the actual needs of the school and provide better information management platform for schools assets.
