Today, commercial competition becomes increasingly intensive. For those enterprises which have high value asset, asset management directly influences the safe and high-performance operation of enterprises producing, and then will directly affect profit and benefit of enterprises. Tianjin Steel Group Limited company is the collection of sintering, iron-making, steelmaking, continuous casting production process as one of the large modern iron and steel enterprises, for many years it is among the top 500 enterprises of China. In recent years, establishing the assets management information system is regarded as an indispensable part of Tiangang group. However the traditional asset management system has many shortcomings, such as low efficiency, poor security; for a long-term run, a lot of difficulties will be caused by these shortcomings to the massive documents and the data, which are to search, update and maintenance. How to improve the standard of asset management, standardization and continuous optimization, become urgent to solve the problem of Tiangang group.First of all, the status of asset management system and the lack of lnformationalization in Tiangang Group are analyzed, making it clear the necessity of the development of assets management system based on the service oriented architecture (SOA). On this basis, the main function of this asset management system is used for task management, account management, maintenance management, analysis equipment registration, inventory query, asset inventory, scrap and maintenance and other core processes. Secondly, the architecture of SOA that applied in this system are analysed. As the important part, the investment management, integration of SOA framework and how to realize the asset management system and enterprise email are discussed as well. Furthermore, through the OA web service for achieving automatic reminding to improve asset management and work efficiency. Finally, the stability of system scalability and investment benefit is analysed.
