Design And Implementation Of Intelligent Attendance System

Old-fashioned attendance checking is not efficient, not accurate and not powerfully binding on cheatings between attendance checker and employees. With the fast development of network techniques and wireless communication techniques, it turns out to be a must and practically important to build a smart attendance checking system, especially for HR management in a company. Through my understanding of theoretical knowledge and practical know-how in HR attendance checking, a mobile and smart checking system for manpower attendance control has been developed on the basis of operating platform of mobile phone.Basically, some solutions are supplied by this attendance checking system to the problems in manpower attendance checking in a company, and its main services are as follows:user log-in service, attendance checking service, asking-for-leave service, business handling service, daily reporting service and personnel information control service. All those services make it possible that the user could fulfill the attendance checking control duty through smart phone.This mobile checking system is developed on the Android operating system, which involves the use of programming language of JSP dynamic web page, the deployment of Tomcat server, data communicating technology of Servlet server and access technology to SQL Server2005 database with JDBC data source. And finally, the system testing platform is set up on the Samsung smartphone to check the system through functional test, performance test, interface test and analysis, the maintenance and development of functional module for users. The test result shows that the mobile checking system designed in this article meets the requirements of users and reaches the anticipated target.
