In recent years, the state attaches great importance to the rapid development of informatization, taking the "triple play" into the national development strategy as an important task. Making progresses on the "triple play" is not only an important way to handle economical fast development but also an important task to push informatization construction and bring up strategic emerging industries. In order to adapt to the development trend of "triple play" and NGB, it is essential to speed up the construction and minimize renovation costs of bidirectional network reform construction, which ensures users’ bandwidth and makes full use of the original optical and electrical cable sources of HFC network. Taking these conditions into consideration, this article analyzes EoC technology and chooses MoCA standard as the best standards to access the network.In the beginning, the article makes analysis of MoCA and other coaxial cable access technology, emphasizing on illustrating that EoC technology based on MoCA standard is more suitable as the short link network access for the current building entrance by comparing the two technologies on core theory and applicable environment. The next part goes to the research about MoCA standard, including physical layer function, MAC layer function, channel binding technology and link safety technology. The physical layer uses OFDM technology, channel equalization and reduce the effects of noise and inter-symbol interference on the channel. MAC layer is realized in software TDMA technology, reducing the transmission delay and jitter to meet QoS. And put forwards the software solution, whole master system architecture and data transmission flow. Linux-based embedded software development, build cross-compiler development environment. Master system uses Entropic’s EN2710 chip companies MoCA2.0 standard, high access rate, stable, highly integrated chip. And separately from the CLI, WEB, SNMP three ways for master system interface layer design, in particular the completion of the system through SNMP protocol management system for normal operation and maintenance is very important. At last, tests are conducted on network building ability, access speed, and security of the master system in laboratorial environment.This thesis mainly represents the master user interface layer designing and completes the management function of the system. In this paper, embedded system software design, content scalability and portability, has some practical value, for "triple play" of the access network design provides a reference solution. In addition, the product link attenuation problems and compatibility issues, the latter also needs deeper study.
