From the date of the birth of Ethernet, Ethernet is used to transmit data, so that Ethernet equipment must work with own battery or extenal supply adapter. The stand which Ethernet can also transfer DC power supply in data transmission line is defined in IEEE802.3af,promulgated in june 2003, but with the growing demand for power in 2009 released a new generation of IEEE802.3at standards, this standard to broaden the application areas ethernet applications, making him as power supply technology has broad application prospects become an emerging technology.For PowerPC-based optical communication node device has been redesigned, mainly in the MPC8306 microprocessor based on the structure and performance of optical communication node device to complete the minimum system design and Power over Ethernet technology to the minimum system power supply, while according to minimum system function will be divided into a processor, memory, network port, a serial debug interface, power supply and other modules reset and complete design of each module, so as to achieve the following objectives:(1) optical communication node device to use PoE system power supply,(2) the minimum system based MPC8306 can complete various traffic cards on the system to monitor and control; (3) according to the system special requirements for electromagnetic compatibility,solve equipment special problems of electromagnetic interference;(4) complete the system software design for the minimum system management.In this thesis,we finished the major hardware circuits design, including PSE, PD, power chip.CPLD Device,reset circuit,clock distribution,DDR2 circuit,Flash circuit, communication interface circuit.at the same time finished the detail analysis of the PoE design, give a reliable solution for the electromagnetic compatibility, given several main modules of the main program flow and configuration information to complete the business card desire to control monitoring.
