Firstly, this paper discusses the coal company inventory management information system of the project background, then on the problems facing the enterprise system design and development based on the analyze to survey the system’s functional requirements as well as non functional requirement, and with use case diagram and flow chart of system is elaborated.Then we based on the demand analysis, the structure of coal inventory management information system design. According to the design requirements and functional requirements of the enterprise, we propose the system design objectives and principles, and the system architecture design is divided into two modules: system technology architecture and function architecture.
