Sucker antenna is a type of vehicle antenna that bottom equipped with a magnet and can be absorbed on the surface of the vehicle body. It has a variety of functions of digital broadcasting, mobile TV, instant messaging,GPS navigation,speech recognition and so on. Compared with other types of antennas, Vehicle suction cup antenna has the great advantage:simple structure,easy to use and powerful features make it the first choice for vehicle antenna. In this study, the Ansoft HFSS electromagnetic field simulation software is used as the application background. It provides a reference for the research and development of new products. It not only analysis but also simulation studies of the sucker antenna’s electrical performance with five eighths wavelength, central load inductance coil. According to the simulation results,vehicle suction cup antenna has achieved to the goal of the desighn by various measurements of the same size of the Vehicle suction cup antenna.In the beginning of study, it gives a brief introduction of development Course, the working principle, the classification, the simulation software.Then introduces the basic theory (including radiation parameters and field area of the antenna), and the vehicle suction cup antenna. On this simulation basis, a vehicle suction cup antenna is designed. The subject focuses on the influence about the performence of the change to antenna geometry. The result shows that the sucker antenna could achieve the design requirements through a series of measurements, and further proves the correctness of the simulation results of the antenna.
